The KStrong IMPAXX LONGSPAN In-Line Shock Absorber AFF114112 is prescribed for use as a component within a KStrong IMPAXX Engineered, Permanently Installed, Horizontal Lifeline System.
This component is strictly for use within a IMPAXX LONGSPAN In-Line Shock Absorber System (AFF114112) & must NOT be used within a IMPAXX CONSTEEL In-Line Shock Absorber System (AFF112100).
FEATURES:
- May be fitted to systems with a Pretension Force of 5kN. This In-Line Shock Absorber will have a Minimum Activation Force of 18kN and maintain Peak Force <24kN.
- This component is strictly for use within a KStrong IMPAXX Engineered, Permanently Installed, Horizontal Lifeline System, exactly as prescribed within the User Instruction Manual (UIM). All KStrong IMPAXX Horizontal Lifeline Systems are for Fall Restraint and Fall Arrest Only, and must never be used for Abseil or Materials Handling.
- Maximum 7 Users per KStrong IMPAXX LONGSPAN Horizontal Lifeline System.
- This component is designed to accommodate the directional loading(s) imposed within the KStrong IMPAXX Horizontal Lifeline System in which it is prescribed.
- This component may deform when the KStrong IMPAXX Horizontal Lifeline System is impacted by a single or muti user fall.
- Minimum Anchorage Strength 48kN.
